Daniel Borth
Associate
Daniel Borth earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2025. While in law school, Mr. Borth completed internships with the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office during both his 1L and 2L summers. He also participated in the University of Colorado’s Criminal Defense Clinic and worked with the Korey Wise Innocence Project, contributing to post-conviction case review and investigative research.
Throughout law school Mr. Borth worked at Decker & Jones as a legal research assistant, supporting the firm’s attorneys on a range of criminal and family law matters. After graduating, he joined the firm as a law clerk and later became an associate following his admission to the Colorado Bar. His current practice includes trial-level defense in county and municipal court, pretrial litigation, and ongoing client advocacy.
Mr. Borth is committed to providing high-quality defense to individuals facing prosecution, with a focus on protecting due process and holding the government to its burden of proof. His interest in criminal defense is rooted in a belief that access to fair and rigorous representation is essential to any just legal system.
In his free time Mr. Borth enjoys painting, playing guitar, and snowboarding. These hobbies inform his grounded, adaptable, and client-centered approach to legal work.
